The Learning Teaching Training Activity took place in Istanbul, Turkiye, on 29 June - 03 July, 2026.
The Learning, Teaching and Training Activity of the Erasmus+ KA210-ADU project “Technology and Education – A Real Support for Health!” / TechAndEdu-TEA was successfully organised in Istanbul, Türkiye, between 29 June and 03 July 2026.
The activity was hosted by iTeach International Training and Learning Institute with the participation of project partners from Romania, Czechia and Türkiye. The event brought together adults living with neurodegenerative diseases, especially Multiple Sclerosis, together with specialists from medical, educational and related fields.
The main aim of the LTT activity was to test, validate and improve the TechAndEdu-TEA e-learning platform, which is designed to provide accessible educational resources for people with neurodegenerative diseases, caregivers and professionals. Throughout the week, participants actively explored the platform, took part in workshops, shared feedback and discussed how digital education can support health, well-being and social inclusion.
During the five-day programme, participants worked on key themes such as mental health hygiene, emotional well-being, stress management, positive thinking, physical therapy, mobility, nutrition, coping strategies, social support and inclusive education. The workshops combined presentations, practical exercises, group discussions, peer learning and evaluation activities.
An important part of the programme was the connection between the project’s health education objectives and real-life inclusive education practices in Türkiye. Participants visited special education institutions in Istanbul, where they observed adapted learning environments, sensory rooms, rehabilitation spaces and learner-centred support practices. These visits created valuable opportunities for international exchange and reflection on accessibility, inclusion, multidisciplinary cooperation and personalised support.
The activity also strengthened cooperation among the partner organisations and created a meaningful learning environment where participants could share experiences from their own countries. The discussions highlighted the importance of continuous education, digital literacy, emotional resilience and community-based support for improving the quality of life of people living with neurodegenerative conditions.
As a result of the LTT activity, participants improved their understanding of the TechAndEdu-TEA platform, contributed practical feedback for its further development and gained new knowledge about holistic support approaches. The activity also produced important evidence for project implementation, including attendance records, participant feedback, photo documentation, workshop outputs and dissemination materials.
The Istanbul LTT activity made a significant contribution to the overall objectives of the TechAndEdu-TEA project by promoting accessible adult education, digital learning, health awareness, inclusion and European cooperation.
We would like to thank all participants, trainers, hosting institutions, school representatives and project partners for their valuable contributions, cooperation and active involvement throughout the activity.
